About this lure
The Ocean Fleet Javelin is a high-response long jig built for power and precision. Its slim, centre-balanced design delivers fast dives, sharp slides, and extended glides that trigger reaction bites from aggressive pelagics. Developed from Tsuruzaki’s “length and resistance” theory, the Javelin’s unique tail shape reduces turbulence and keeps the jig stable through every motion — making it effective across multiple species and conditions.

How to work it
Drop the Javelin to the bottom or target zone and let its centre-balanced, fast-sinking design punch through current to reach deep-holding predators in the 10-30m range.
Its slim profile crash-dives quickly, so keep contact with the jig on the descent and be ready for bites as it falls.
Work it with sharp, high-impact jerks to make the asymmetrical body turn and glide sideways, or settle into a steady mid-tempo one-pitch rhythm for longer, more controlled slides.
The optimised tail keeps the jig stable through direction changes, so vary your cadence to trigger reaction bites from aggressive fish.
Pair it with a jigging rod and reel matched to the 140g or 180g weight and heavier braid, ready to handle hard-charging targets.
