Shipping

How much does shipping cost?

We ship fast with NZ Post’s Overnight Delivery Service so you get your fishing gear quickly!

  • Northland: $4.89
  • Auckland: $5.89
  • Rest of North Island: $6.90
  • South Island: $8.90


Rods and other oversized items may incur an additional $10 shipping charge, this will be calculated at checkout.

We work hard to keep delivery costs low and aim to ship all in-stock orders the same day, as long as you order before the cut-off time on the product page.

How long does shipping take?

We hold over 6,000 fishing products in-stock and orders are delivered overnight nationwide using NZ Post.

Where do you ship to?

We currently only ship within New Zealand (but we will be shipping to Australia in the near future).

Who do you use to deliver orders?

All Monster Fishing orders are delivered by NZ Post using a tracked overnight service.

Can I track my order?

Of course! We ship all orders using NZ Post and you can track your order from My Account or by following the link sent to your email address.

Pick ups

Can I collect my order in person?

Yes! We offer a free Pick Up service for customers who live near our Ruakaka retail store. Place your order online as normal and select Pick Up in the Checkout. Orders are ready within 1 hour during normal business hours and we'll send you an email when your order is ready to pick up.

What are your retail store opening hours?

We're currently open:

  • 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday
  • 8am-4pm on Saturday.

We are closed on Sundays and Public Holidays.

You are of course welcome to browse, shop and pay instore like any normal retail store and we're hopeful that our store is cooler that most!

You can also place a Pick Up order before coming in -- please allow 30 mintues for your order to be picked and ready to collect.

What is your retail store address?

Our warehouse is located at: Unit 3, 32 Waiwarawara Drive, Ruakaka, 0171.

We have off-street parking for cars, but not for boats, sorry!

We are a new retail store, so please remember to check our opening hours and feel free to place an order in advance of coming to visit us!

How can I place an order?

Browse our online store, add items to your cart, and follow the checkout process. You'll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed.

What payment methods do you accept?

We currently accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and UnionPay.

Is my payment information secure?

Yes, all payments are processed through secure, encrypted gateways to protect your data.

Can I modify or cancel my order?

Yes, if your order hasn’t shipped yet. Please drop us an email as soon as possible and we will cancel your order and issue you a refund.

Returns and Refunds

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy for unused items in their original condition. For more details, visit our Return Policy.

How do I return an item?

Contact us at shop@monsterfishing.co.nz to initiate a return. We'll provide instructions and the return address. 

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days after we receive and inspect the returned item.
