Palms - Jigaro Super Slide
About this lure
Palms - Jigaro Super Slide
Jig Weights:
- 100g / 182mm
- 135g / 203mm
- 150g / 210mm
The fourth in the Jigaro family, which allows anglers to slide at will in shore jigging. As its name suggests, the Jigaro Super Slide is a model created to achieve the highest slide in the series. With the low sink rate of Z Light Metal as a weapon, the overwhelming slide obtained by brushing up the balance of the symmetrical body will induce the bite of cunning bluefish that have not used their mouths until now. Furthermore, the slow fall
after a big lure realizes a sharp tactic of "attracting and then eating". The flight distance that is close to that of the normal Jigaro also supports anglers as an advantage in shore jigging. The Jigaro Super Slide opens up further possibilities in shore jigging. It is finally here.

How to work it
The Jigaro Super Slide is built for shore jigging in the mid water column (2-10m), using a slow sinking action to maximise glide. Cast it out, let it sink to your target depth, then work it with sharp upward sweeps of the rod. The symmetrical body and low sink rate of the Z Light Metal produce a wide slide on the lift, then a slow fall that draws bites on the drop.
Use an "attract then eat" cadence: a big sweep to make the jig dart and slide, followed by a pause to let it fall slowly through the strike zone. This slow fall is often what triggers cautious fish that have ignored faster presentations.
Pair it with a jigging outfit suited to the 100-150g range and long casts from shore or boat. Target kingfish and tuna working mid-depth water.
