How to work it
Work the Ebipop 140F on the surface with a series of sharp downward rod strokes to load the 45mm cup face and throw big, deep bloops.
Between pops, pause and let the floating body sit before the next stroke - vary the cadence from steady rhythmic pops to erratic, aggressive sequences until you find the trigger. The long, stable body holds its line through rough seas and heavy swell, so keep working it confidently across chop.
At 145g this is a substantial popper that casts a long way into wind and pushes plenty of water, letting you cover reef flats, drop-offs and open shoals. Pair it with a heavy popping outfit, strong braid and a hard-wearing leader to handle the load and the fish.
The large splash output and low resistance let you keep casting through long sessions. Target GTs, tuna, dogtooth and mackerel over reef edges and deep water.
