How to fish the FCL Labo - EBISC 190F
Big Kev's Tips
How to work it
Fish the EBISC 190F on the surface, where its floating, tail-down design keeps it stable and ready to spray.
Cast it out and work it with sharp rod-tip strokes to create splash and commotion, pausing between pops to let it settle before the next pull.
At 65g it casts well and holds position in choppy or rough seas, so you can keep working it even when conditions turn.
Because it's a compact 190mm popper, it comes into its own when fish are keyed on smaller bait - the easy action lets you generate big surface disturbance without heavy effort.
Vary your cadence: slow, deliberate pops when fish are cautious, faster sequences to trigger a reaction.
Pair it with a topwater-rated rod and reel loaded with braid and a heavy leader to handle hard hits.
Proven on kingfish, GT, mackerel, yellowfin tuna, mahimahi and other pelagics feeding at the surface.
