Sharp, responsive, and built for long cast spoon and crankbait work
The Lupus 66RS is the sharpest and most responsive model in the Lupus retrieval range — built specifically for casting spoons and crankbaits long and staying in control on the retrieve. It features a finely tuned blank that balances a soft, flexible tip for lure action and bite detection, with a firmer belly and powerful butt to punch hooks home even on high-drag lures.
At 6'6", it’s the perfect length for stillwater or larger ponds, offering great castability and smooth line mending when needed. This model really shines when fishing heavier spoons (3g+) or deeper-diving crankbaits that pull more water. The tip lets your lure move naturally, while the sharper midsection helps manage drag and deliver reliable hooksets — even at distance.
If you're covering water with spoons or cranks and want a rod that tracks true and hits hard when it counts, the 66RS is it.
