All fishing rods are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

This covers faults in materials or workmanship under normal fishing use, including:

  • Blank manufacturing defects
  • Guide or insert failures
  • Reel seat or binding issues
  • Epoxy or structural faults

Not covered:

  • Impact damage (car doors, rocks, sinkers, transport accidents)
  • High-sticking or excessive rod angles
  • Use outside recommended line or lure ratings
  • Modifications or third-party repairs
  • Normal cosmetic wear

The Blue Sniper 85/4 Canary is a premium mid-weight topwater rod designed for targeting yellowfin tuna and Japanese amberjack, with a focus on exceptional casting and lure operability. A lighter variant of the "Blacky" tuna model, the "Canary" stands out for its ability to handle small bait patterns while offering remarkable casting performance—able to reach distances of up to 100m (PE4, 70g lure) during testing. Even with lures under 30g, it delivers impressive distance. The rod excels in tight spaces and restricted casting angles, such as on large shared boats, allowing you to accurately target distant schools of fish. With a strong butt section, it can quickly stop the runs of fish like Japanese amberjack, even when they head for the roots. Longer than other rods in the Blue Sniper series, the 85/4 Canary is specifically designed for superior casting and working lures, offering versatility across lure types and target species without compromising performance.
