About this lure

The FCL Labo HJ 130FS Fast Sinking Stickbait is built for distance casting and deep-zone penetration, imitating slim baitfish such as garfish and flying fish. Its extra-fast sink rate and tight, wobbling swim make it deadly for fast-moving pelagics when fish are holding deeper or staying just out of reach. Handmade in Japan with precision balance and proven HJ series performance.

  • Extra-fast sinking design – gets deep fast to reach holding or wary fish
  • Realistic baitfish profile – mimics garfish, flying fish and needlefish
  • Long casting weight – ideal for reaching distant surface bust-ups or deep ledges
  • Wobbling action – swims naturally on medium to fast retrieves
  • Shimmy on the drop – triggers strikes as it sinks like a dying baitfish
  • Pelagic specialist – proven on GTs, tuna, kingfish and mackerel
  • Handmade in Japan – trusted FCL craftsmanship and finish

How to fish the FCL Labo - HJ 130FS

Big Kev's Tips

How to work it

The HJ 130FS is a 90g fast-sinking stickbait built to cast a long way and get down quickly.

Fire it out to distant surface bust-ups or work it over deep ledges, then let it sink - the shimmy on the drop mimics a dying baitfish and often draws strikes before you begin the retrieve.

Work it on medium to fast retrieves to bring out the tight, wobbling swim that imitates slim baitfish like garfish, flying fish and needlefish.

When fish are holding deeper or staying out of reach, count it down before starting your retrieve to fish the zone where they're sitting.

Pair it with a stickbait-rated rod and heavier braid to handle the 90g weight and long casts.

It's a pelagic specialist, proven on GTs, tuna, kingfish and mackerel.
