How to work it
The Scarnash 140F is a lipless floating minnow built for surf and rough coastal conditions.
Cast it long using the internal tungsten weight system, then work it with a fast, irregular retrieve to trigger reaction strikes from kahawai and kingfish - the bent-tail body generates a high-pitch rolling action with heavy flash and vibration that cuts through turbulent water.
When the bite is tough, slow your retrieve to a subtle, swaying roll that draws fish holding in the wash.
The 25g weight and triple-hook setup make it effective across a wide retrieve range. Fish it on medium to medium-heavy spinning gear paired with braid for direct contact and distance casting into wind.
