Galahad 622B and 623B
Slow-Pitch | Max 150g | PE2 | 6'2"
Incredibly crisp made-in-Japan blanks with feedback from the jig that the price does not suggest. The 622B takes jigs to 150g on PE2, the 623B to 200g on PE3: 40 to 80m on the jig guide's depth-to-weight chart.

Snapper and kingfish, 40 to 100m plus
Zenaq FOKEETO IKARI
Slow-Pitch | 6'3" | ~130g | PE1.5
A super-elastic carbon core: thin and sensitive, yet it kicks a jig while remaining virtually unbreakable. Rated from ~130g jigs on PE1.5 (FS63-1.5) to ~280g long jigs on PE2.5 (FB64-5), which Zenaq builds for depths over 100m.
Decoder
Reading the spec line
Every rod card carries the same four facts, straight from the product.
Jig weight
The jig weights the blank is built to load and pitch. Match it to the depth-to-weight chart in the jig guide.
Line rating
The braid class the rod is rated for. Keep the reel's braid inside this range.
Length
Slow pitch rods run short, mostly 5'8" to 6'7"; the Palms Metal Witch at 6'10" is the long one.
Spin or overhead
S is a spinning rod; C and B are overhead (casting) rods. Most series come in both.
