How to work it

Cast the HJ 160S long across current or into the wind - the streamlined 90g body carries well and lets you cover water.

Let it sink to reach the feeding zone, using the natural shimmy on the drop to mimic an injured baitfish; count it down deeper in current or when fish hold below the surface.

On retrieve, work a medium to fast wind so the lure settles into its tight wobble, then pause to let it flutter down again.

Alternate steady speed with sharp lifts to trigger following pelagics.

Match it to a stickbait rod and reel loaded with heavy braid and leader to handle powerful runs.

Its fast-sinking action suits tuna, kingfish, GTs and mackerel around deep water, reef edges and windy surface conditions where a floating stickbait struggles to stay in the strike zone.
