The Squid Snatcher is a slow-sinking jig best worked near the surface with a gentle, rhythmic lift-and-drop retrieve.

Lower it on slack line, then raise the rod tip steadily to draw the jig upward, pause, and allow it to sink again-this mimics wounded baitfish and triggers squid strikes.
