"SEARCH RATTLE" is one of the YAMASHITA's exclusive technology. The YAMASHITA "SEARCH" squid jigs feature a number of unique features but what sets this jig apart is the 600Hz rattle inside the body. YAMASHITA have discovered after much research with a leading Japanese University that squid can pick up sounds between 400Hz and 1,500Hz with 600Hz being the optimum level for squid to be most interested.

How to work it
Cast the EGI OH Live Search 2.5 around structure, reefs, and open water where squid hunt.
Work it with sharp, rhythmic jerks of the rod tip to trigger the dart action, then pause briefly to let it sink - the 5.0 sec/m sink rate allows you to search different depths quickly.
The internal 600Hz rattle will call squid from distance; vary your cadence between aggressive darting and slower, deliberate drops to match squid mood. Pair with a light jig rod and braid for direct feel and instant hook-sets when squid take.
