About this reel
The Daiwa 26 Certate SW 10000-H is an evolution in saltwater spinning reels, engineered to conquer New Zealand's hardest-fighting pelagics like Kingfish and Yellowfin Tuna. Built around a rigid aluminium Monocoque (MQ) body and the all-new Powerdrive Design, this heavy-duty workhorse delivers unyielding strength and minimal flex under immense loads. Whether you are throwing large stickbaits into the wash or engaging in deepwater mechanical jigging, the oversized G1 Duralumin drive gear ensures a buttery smooth yet brutally powerful retrieve.
- Aluminium Monocoque (MQ) Body – A one-piece frame that eliminates flex and securely houses a massive drive gear for uncompromising winding power.
- Powerdrive Design – Maximises torque and ensures effortless rotation under extreme pressure, giving you the upper hand against trophy fish.
- Magsealed Technology – A magnetised oil seal on the main shaft and line roller shuts out salt, dust, and water intrusion for long-lasting performance in the harshest marine environments.
- ATD Tough Drag – Delivers 25kg of smooth, consistent stopping power with reduced start-up inertia to confidently halt blistering runs.
- Zaion Air Rotor – Reduces the weight of the front unit, delivering lower start-up inertia and highly responsive retrieves.
- High-Speed Retrieve – The 5.6:1 gear ratio retrieves 117cm of line per crank, making it ideal for working fast-paced topwater lures and keeping tension on fast-moving Kingfish.
