About this reel
The Daiwa 26 Certate SW 14000-XH is engineered for the most demanding offshore environments, providing unmatched stopping power for New Zealand's aggressive pelagics. Built around Daiwa's rigid Monocoque (MQ) aluminium body, this reel houses a massive drive gear for exceptional torque when hauling stubborn Kingfish or Tuna from the depths. Its advanced Magsealed construction ensures maximum protection against harsh saltwater intrusion, making it a reliable workhorse for serious topwater and heavy jigging sessions.
- Monocoque Aluminium Body – Maximises internal space for a larger, stronger gear while eliminating structural flex under extreme loads.
- Powerdrive Zaion Rotor – Reduces rotational weight for an effortless, responsive crank without compromising structural integrity.
- ATD Drag System – Delivers a smooth and consistent 25kg of stopping power to tame hard-running offshore species.
- Magsealed Technology – Uses magnetic oil to create a waterproof seal, preventing saltwater and debris from degrading internal components.
- High-Speed Gear Ratio – The 6.2 ratio rapidly retrieves line, perfect for ripping a stickbait or popper across the surface.
