About this combo

This ready-to-fish spin combo pairs the Assassin Duel XT 7M Spinning Rod with the Daiwa 20 Crest LT5000-CXH reel and XBRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram braid — delivering a balanced, high-performance setup purpose-built for casting and retrieving lures across a wide range of species and conditions.

Rod: Assassin - Duel XT 7M Spinning Rod

The Assassin Duel XT in 7M (Medium) action gives you the versatility to work soft plastics, hard-body lures, and blades with confidence. Its responsive blank loads efficiently on the cast and provides enough backbone to muscle fish away from structure, while remaining sensitive enough to detect subtle takes on the retrieve.

Reel: Daiwa - 20 Crest LT5000-CXH

The Daiwa 20 Crest LT5000-CXH is built on Daiwa's Light & Tough (LT) platform, keeping weight down without sacrificing durability. The CXH designation means an extra-high gear ratio for fast line recovery — ideal for burning lures back quickly and taking up slack on strikes. Its long-cast spool pairs perfectly with a 7-foot spinning rod.

Line: XBRAID - UPGRADE X8 PENTAGRAM

XBRAID Upgrade X8 Pentagram is an 8-carrier braided line constructed with a pentagram weave for a consistently round, smooth profile that flows cleanly through guides and reduces friction on long casts. The zero-stretch construction maximises sensitivity and ensures instant hook-sets, while high abrasion resistance keeps the line intact around rocks and structure.

Together, these three components form a cohesive spin fishing package with exceptional feel, casting distance, and retrieval speed — ideal for anglers who want a no-compromise, matched setup straight out of the box. Add to cart and hit the water ready to fish.
