Shimano - 26 Grappler Type Slow J B66-4

The 26 Grappler Type Slow J is Shimano's updated slow pitch jigging series, built around a blank that bends smoothly through its length with a slightly firmer tip. The idea is that once you load it up, the rod does much of the work for you, flicking the jig up cleanly and letting it fall with the action you're after. The B66-4 sits in the upper middle of the six-model range, rated for heavier jigs and deeper water, so it covers reef and bottom fish in close as well as trips out wider.

• Spiral X and Hi-Power X blank – Carbon reinforcement that resists twist and crushing, so the rod holds its shape when you're loaded up on a good fish.
• Full holding reel seat – The same narrowed, contoured seat design used on the Ocea Jigger rods, which suits palming or two to four finger grips through a long session.
