The Scotty Backing Plate adds crucial structural support when mounting Scotty deck or flush mounts to thin-walled kayaks, dinghies, and small boats. Built from rugged engineering-grade nylon with stainless hardware included, it reinforces your installation for long-term strength.
- Structural reinforcement – stabilises 241L, 241 Side Deck, 244L, and 244 Flush Deck mounts on thin-walled craft
- Engineering-grade nylon – tough, impact-resistant plate built for marine use
- Stainless steel hardware – includes machine screws and nuts for secure fastening
- Retained Nylock nuts – stainless Nylocks are held in place for easier installation
- Optimised mount fit – designed to match Scotty bolt spacing for precise alignment
