The TC80-200G Type R is the most powerful rod in the entire Tobizo lineup – purpose-built for anglers chasing giant tuna and record-class GT in the 30–100kg+ range. Designed to dominate the toughest battles in both open water and near reef structure, it blends exceptional casting ability with crushing fight power.
Built from TORAYCA® T1100G carbon with Nanoalloy® resin and fitted with Zenaq’s Hexagon Reel Seat and Hexagon Grip, the TC80-200G Type R delivers effortless distance and precise lure action while giving you the leverage to turn fish before they find the reef. Its belly section is tuned for clean, controlled casting with 120–230g lures, while the torque-rich butt section provides relentless lifting power under maximum drag pressures.
