Rod Warranty

All fishing rods are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.

This covers faults in materials or workmanship under normal fishing use, including:

  • Blank manufacturing defects
  • Guide or insert failures
  • Reel seat or binding issues
  • Epoxy or structural faults

Not covered:

  • Impact damage (car doors, rocks, sinkers, transport accidents)
  • High-sticking or excessive rod angles
  • Use outside recommended line or lure ratings
  • Modifications or third-party repairs
  • Normal cosmetic wear

The MST 82-9+ is Ripple Fisher’s powerhouse weapon for anglers chasing truly big kingfish on big water. It was designed specifically for casting and working large lures over 240mm – big stickbaits and poppers that match the size of bait these fish often hunt in open water or around remote islands.

With a smooth, parabolic bend that kicks in as pressure builds, the 82-9+ gives you the ability to load the rod fully and apply serious pressure without feeling brutal in the arms. The blank flexes with tenacity and control, letting you absorb brutal runs and turn big fish before they bury you in the reef.

It’s the strongest rod in the Aquila series and demands a confident angler with decent technique and body strength to get the most out of it. In return, you get a rod that feels manageable in hand yet delivers the raw lifting power needed to beat oversized kings in heavy current and rough ground.
