How to fish the FCL Labo - CSP S180F

Big Kev's Tips

How to work it

Fish the CSP S180F on the surface as a floating stickbait, working it with rod sweeps to bring out its side-to-side roll.

The chiseled face lets it dig in and track straight, so vary your cadence between long sweeps, sharp twitches and fast rips to trigger strikes. Even a steady retrieve produces a natural wobble across the top.

At 75g and 180mm, it carries well on the cast, letting you cover ground and reach working fish or structure from distance.

Pair it with a stickbait-rated topwater rod and heavier braid to handle hard hits and drive the single or treble home.

Target pelagic and reef predators feeding up top - kingfish, GTs, tuna, mackerel and reef species.

Adjust retrieve speed to match how the fish are reacting, slowing the sweeps in calmer water and ripping faster when they want a fleeing baitfish.
