About this reel
The Daiwa 20 Crest LT4000-C is engineered with Daiwa's Light and Tough (LT) concept, offering New Zealand anglers a lightweight yet incredibly durable spinning reel. Designed to handle harsh saltwater environments, it features a robust Tough Digigear system that ensures smooth and powerful winding under heavy loads. This 4000-size reel is the perfect match for softbaiting large Snapper in the Hauraki Gulf or casting lures at schooling Kahawai, providing reliable performance when it matters most.
- LT Concept – Significantly reduces the overall reel weight without sacrificing structural strength or durability.
- Tough Digigear – Delivers precise, smooth rotation and increased pulling power for battling stubborn fish.
- ATD Drag System – Provides a smooth, low-inertia drag response to protect light lines during aggressive runs.
- LC-ABS Spool – Designed with a specialized lip profile to maximize casting distance and reduce line friction.
- Compact Body Design – Minimizes fatigue during long sessions of casting and retrieving softbaits or metal lures.
- 4/1 Bearings – Ensures consistently smooth operation across all internal moving parts.
