Rob Allen - Cobia Speargun

The Rob Allen Cobia Speargun is designed to deliver high-end railgun performance at an entry-level price point, making it a top choice for New Zealand divers targeting Snapper, Blue Moki, and Kingfish. Built with the same legendary Vecta 2 handle and mechanism as the premium models, this gun offers unmatched reliability and power for shore diving and reef hunting. The aircraft-grade aluminium barrel is slightly lighter than the Tuna series, providing excellent manoeuvrability in kelp forests and shallow coastal waters.

• Vecta 2 Mechanism – Features a glass-reinforced polyamide cassette and stainless steel sear for immense strength and safety under load.
• Aircraft Grade Aluminium – The 1.2mm wall thickness ensures rigidity and durability while remaining lightweight for long shore dives.
• Integrated Rail System – Supports the spear along the full barrel length for pinpoint accuracy and reduced noise upon firing.
• Double Notched Spear – Comes standard with a 6.6mm high-carbon steel shaft engineered for deep penetration on hard-fighting NZ species.
• Low Profile Muzzle – Reduces drag and allows for a clear line of sight, making it easier to track moving targets like Kahawai or Trevally.
