About this lure
New for 2023, the High Flier Bullet was built in collaboration with Captain Simon Brown of High Flier Sportfishing in Kona. He wanted a large, heavy bullet for his long rigger — and it delivered, landing fish up to 700lbs during testing.
Skirted Length: 350mm / 14”
Hook Size: 9/0 – 10/0
Leader Size: 400lb – 500lb
Replacement Skirt: Bonze BS12
Designed for the long positions, this one punches well above its weight. A proper addition to any spread.

How to work it
The High Flier is a trolled bullet head designed for long-rigger deployment in a game fishing spread. Set it on the long corner or shotgun position and let it work the surface, where its floating action and skirted design create natural baitfish-like movement at trolling speed.
The 350mm profile and heavy construction punch through chop and hold position in rough conditions.
Pair with 400-500lb leader and appropriate game rod; target species will take it aggressively in open water.
Which colour, and when
BaronessBold blue/black stripe with red gives a hard contrast silhouette in bright, clear conditions.
CondorIridescent multicolour flash that shifts and catches light in clear, sunny water.
GalaxyDark skirt with silver/red head reads as a strong silhouette in low light or overcast conditions.
