THE PRO STAFF TEAM

We’ve got a passionate team of anglers on board to test the latest tackle and lures, so you can see what really works before you head out...

KodyBro

Kody is a Northland local who fishes hard around Marsden Point and Waipu, chasing the kind of snapper and kingfish that keep most anglers up at night. He knows every rock ledge, every channel edge, and every window worth dropping everything for.

If you want real Northland action, proper Kiwi fishing energy, and a feed of raw, honest sessions from someone who lives it, follow KodyBro. He’s out there putting in the work so you can ride along for the next big hit.

If Kody liked bait any more, he'd probably need a fork. Don't worry, we're going to help change his habbits.

Ocean Warrior

Ian's a true Northlander, based near Whangarei where he’s never far from the water. He grew up fishing with his old man around the Whangarei Heads, chasing Snapper and soaking up every bit of local fishing knowledge he could.

These days, you’ll find him working the coast around Bream Bay and Tutukaka, targeting big Snapper and Kingfish, or heading out with the boys in the Bay of Islands on the hunt for monster Yellowfin Tuna.

He’s a big fan of the Jackeye KuneKune range for Snapper, and reckons the Jackeye Hirarin is mint for loading up on livies before going after Kingies.

He’s also now assisting on charter boats, recently jumping on board with Tinto as his decky, adding another layer of hands-on experience to his time on the water.

Fishinglife NZ

Keolin might’ve grown up landing monster fish (and the odd shark) off the beaches of South Africa, but these days you’ll find him chasing big snapper from the rocks and surf around Auckland & Northland.

He brings a heap of experience from his home waters and is now putting that to work here in Aotearoa – sharing tips, tricks, and epic fishing missions with the community.

He’s a big fan of short butt Assassin Horizon rods for launching baits into the surf, and reckons Meiho tackle boxes are the best way to keep things tidy.
