About this lure
When wahoo and tuna are on the chew and you're covering ground fast, the Yo-Zuri Bonita is one of the most trusted high-speed trolling lures you can put in the spread. It's been a proven fish-taker for years, and this updated version gets tougher components throughout, so it holds up to the brutal strikes and long runs of fast pelagics.
At its core is Yo-Zuri's patented Power Body with heavy-duty stainless wire-thru construction, so the lure stays connected even if a fish tears the body apart. It's rigged with flat forged stainless hooks and stainless ball bearing swivels, ready to go straight out of the packet.
The Bonita swims with a tight, stable wobble that stays locked in and tracks clean anywhere from 6 to 15 knots. No blowing out, no spinning, just a consistent action you can set and forget while you watch the rods. Yo-Zuri's Colour Change Technology shifts the lure's look as the light angle changes, giving off the same flicker and flash as a panicked baitfish trying to get out of the way.
Run it behind a trolling lead to get it down deeper, or straight off the rod tip. Either way it's built for one job: getting smashed by speedsters.
