How to work it

The Weapon X is a large skirted game lure run in a trolled spread behind a moving boat.

Its keel-weighted inserts help the head sit and track true at trolling speed, so set it in a position that lets the hand-painted urethane head work the surface - the long corner or shotgun suit a lure of this size, while the short corner and outrigger positions round out the spread.

At 350mm skirted and 330g, this is a big-bait presentation. Match it with heavy game tackle running the recommended 300lb-400lb leader and rig with a 9/0-10/0 hook.

Adjust your position in the spread and boat speed so the head keeps a consistent surface action without blowing out.
