The Daiwa 25 SALTIGA 8000-P sets a new benchmark for heavy-duty saltwater performance. Built around a full-metal Monocoque (MQ) body, this reel houses an oversized G1 duralumin gear to deliver uncompromising strength and torque. In New Zealand conditions, the 8000-P power gear ratio makes it the ultimate workhorse for mechanical jigging deep pins for monster Kingfish, or deploying large baits for trophy Snapper.

- Powerdrive Design – Oversized G1 duralumin Digigear combined with a low-inertia rotor delivers buttery smooth, powerful cranking under brutal loads.
- ATD Tough Drag – Produces up to 25kg of smooth, fade-free stopping power to tire out the biggest pelagics.
- Magsealed Technology – Magnetic oil barriers protect the pinion and line roller from saltwater intrusion, preserving performance season after season.
- LC-ABS SW Spool – A two-stage spool lip reduces line friction for flawless casting and improved feed during aggressive jigging.
