The Jackson Rod Egg is a small elastomer grip that solves a common problem: a two-piece rod that won't come apart at the joint. The soft, high-tack material bites onto the blank so you can twist the sections free without the slip you get from bare hands or a cloth. It also doubles as a tie for bundling rods in the boat or the car, and it's handy enough to live in a pocket or tackle tray.
