The EARLY 68M is a highly versatile rod designed for light boat casting. Its compact 6'8" length and sharp, regular taper make it ideal for punching accurate casts into tight structure, while still offering the range to cover open water when needed.
Rated for 7–32g lures and PE 0.8–1.5, it handles everything from minnows and softbaits to sinking pencils and small topwater lures. The blank loads smoothly and recovers fast, giving you confidence when fighting snapper, kahawai, trevally, or small kingfish — without fear of hooks pulling mid-fight.
Whether you're casting into channel edges, reefy drop-offs, or chasing surface bust-ups, the 68M is a dependable go-to for light inshore work.
