Big Kev's Tips
How to work it
Fish the Madeyes Whippy Worm on a light jighead, letting its natural buoyancy and lifelike ribs do most of the work.
Use minimal rod movement-short lifts and pauses-to trigger the subtle leg and rib vibration that attracts cautious feeders like snapper, trout, flounder, and kahawai. Dead-stick it on the bottom or mid-water; the curl tail will float up on pause, creating a natural presentation that finesse-feeding fish find hard to refuse.
Work it slowly in clear water or over structure where snapper and flounder hunt, or use a slightly faster cadence in moving water for trout and kahawai.
Trim the worm to suit your jighead size and target depth. The squid scent and stretchy construction encourage fish to hold the lure longer, improving hook-up rates.
