How to fish the Halco Madeyes - Octoskirt
Big Kev's Tips
How to work it
The Octoskirt excels when rigged on a jig head and worked with gentle lifts and pauses to trigger the natural leg action.
Cast near structure, reefs, or drop-offs where snapper and kingfish hunt, then retrieve with short rod taps interspersed with dead-stick pauses-the flexible legs continue working even when the lure sinks or sits still, drawing strikes from hesitant fish.
You can also layer it over other soft plastics or jigs to add bulk and movement.
Keep your rod tip low and maintain a light touch; the Rubber Stretch Technology means it'll handle aggressive takes without tearing, so you can fish confidently through multiple strikes.
