The Early 86MH for Rock is a high-response rod designed for efficient exploration of rock areas, offering a longer length that prioritizes maneuverability. This model combines long-distance casting with exceptional sensitivity, making it ideal for both the swimming action of jig head rigs. With a moderate tension in the belly, it allows you to feel bites clearly and pull snapper off the rocks with ease. The sharp, taut blank is versatile, suitable for everything from casting light topwater lures at schools of kahawai in the surf, to softbaiting from the rocks. Longer than most softbaiting rods, the 86MH excels in casting distance, making it a great choice for softbaiting applications where reach and accuracy are key.
