Rod Warranty
All fishing rods are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
This covers faults in materials or workmanship under normal fishing use, including:
- Blank manufacturing defects
- Guide or insert failures
- Reel seat or binding issues
- Epoxy or structural faults
Not covered:
- Impact damage (car doors, rocks, sinkers, transport accidents)
- High-sticking or excessive rod angles
- Use outside recommended line or lure ratings
- Modifications or third-party repairs
- Normal cosmetic wear

The Protone Prototype 20GPTNPC-67-3-SJ is a specialized slow-pitch jigging rod designed for targeting New Zealand's inshore species, such as snapper, in shallower waters. Its construction with high-strength TORAYCA® T1100G carbon and Super Quattro graphite cloth ensures a lightweight yet powerful rod, offering exceptional sensitivity and responsiveness.
