Rod Warranty
All fishing rods are covered by a 12-month warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
This covers faults in materials or workmanship under normal fishing use, including:
- Blank manufacturing defects
- Guide or insert failures
- Reel seat or binding issues
- Epoxy or structural faults
Not covered:
- Impact damage (car doors, rocks, sinkers, transport accidents)
- High-sticking or excessive rod angles
- Use outside recommended line or lure ratings
- Modifications or third-party repairs
- Normal cosmetic wear

The Protone Prototype 21GPTNPC-66-5-SJ is a versatile offshore jigging rod designed for targeting New Zealand's large fish species, such as kingfish, hapuku, bluenose, and tuna. Constructed with high-strength TORAYCA® T1100G carbon and Super Quattro graphite cloth, this rod offers exceptional power and sensitivity, making it ideal for deep-water jigging and challenging offshore conditions.
