Its hydrodynamic shape ensures a rapid descent with minimal water resistance, allowing anglers to reach the strike zone efficiently. The lure's swimming tail and smaller rear hook provide a natural, enticing action that proves irresistible to species like snapper and kingfish. Available in five vibrant colours and a range of weights, the G-Bomb is a versatile addition to any tackle box.

Big Kev's Tips

How to work it

The G-Bomb is a sliding slow jig built for the mid-lower water column, working the 10-30m zone. Drop it to the strike zone and let the hydrodynamic body sink quickly with minimal drag, then work it with slow, measured lifts. On the descent the swimming tail and smaller rear hook produce a lifelike flutter that draws strikes in soft-bite conditions.

Keep the cadence gentle - short lifts followed by a controlled drop lets the tail do the work. Much of the action happens on the flutter down, so stay in contact with the jig and watch for takes as it falls.

Match weight to depth and current: lighter jigs suit shallower water and slower presentations, heavier ones get down faster when there is more depth or drift to fight. Pair with a slow-jig rod and reel setup to target snapper, kingfish, trevally and gurnard.
