About this lure

A custom-designed sliding head jig, packed with lumo and UV content, making it ideal for fishing in medium to deep water.

  • The large, custom-designed head creates a turbulent water flow, causing an enticing wiggle in the free-flowing skirts.
  • The head slides up and down the leader, reducing the fish’s ability to throw the hook.
  • Rigged with Kevlar® thread on a solid ring, featuring high-carbon steel hooks manufactured in one of Black Magic’s Japanese factories.
  • Hooks are PTFE coated for increased rust resistance and improved penetration.
  • Includes a Japanese-made soft lumo bead.

Big Kev's Tips

How to work it

The Sunakku is a sliding-head jig designed for mid-water work between 2-10 m.

Drop it on a controlled descent, then work it with sharp lifts and pauses to trigger the enticing wiggle created by the custom head's turbulent water flow.

The sliding head design reduces hook-off rates by allowing the jig to move freely on the leader during the fight.

Pair it with a responsive rod and braid for direct feel; vary your cadence and depth to match the activity level of the fish.
