About this product
The Scotty 241 Side Deck Mount is the cornerstone of a versatile fishing setup, favoured by New Zealand kayak anglers and tinny owners for its adaptability. Built from engineering-grade nylon, this mount allows you to position your rod holder exactly where you need it, whether on a flat deck surface or the side of a gunnel. It is an essential component for Kiwis looking to customise their vessel for targeting Snapper and Kingfish without permanently cluttering limited space.
- Dual Mounting Options โ Unique design enables installation on either a flat deck or the side of a gunnel for maximum flexibility.
- Universal Compatibility โ Fits all Scotty post-mount rod holders, allowing you to swap accessories instantly.
- Heavy-Duty Construction โ Made from fibre-reinforced engineering nylon to withstand the harsh NZ marine environment.
- Secure Post Engagement โ Features a notched internal design that firmly grips the rod holder post to prevent unwanted rotation.
- Compact Footprint โ Measures just 102mm x 51mm, making it ideal for kayaks and small boats with limited mounting space.
- Standardised Bolting โ Pre-drilled with a 33mm x 81mm bolting pattern for straightforward installation on most surfaces.
