MajorCraft JigPara Micro jigs are compact, high-appeal metals designed for finesse fishing in estuaries, harbours and freshwater systems. How to work it

Cast the JigPara Micro and allow it to sink on a controlled drop through the 2-10 m zone, working the lure with a slow, subtle retrieve.

Use a light hop-and-pause cadence or steady slow-wind to trigger bites - the horizontal sink and minimal side-to-side action suit pressured or finicky fish in estuaries, harbours and freshwater. Pair with light spinning gear and 4-8 lb braid or monofilament to feel the delicate fall and maintain contact through the strike zone.

When targeting selective feeders, let the lure flutter naturally on the drop rather than working it hard. A flutter-and-hold retrieve often outperforms aggressive jigging in clear or shallow water.
