How to work it
The Chieftain 150F works the surface with a cupped mouth that creates a distinctive slash and bubble trail.
Work it with sweeping rod strokes to produce an S-curve action, or pop it aggressively for reaction bites from surface-feeding fish. Twitch-and-burn retrieves also trigger strikes.
Its 45g weight casts well and holds position in choppy conditions, making it effective on reef edges and open water where Kingfish, Tuna, and Trevally hunt near the top.
