How to work it
Cast the PrawnstarZ around structure, weed beds, and drop-offs where snapper, kingfish, trevally, flounder, and redfish hunt.
Work it with steady, slow retrieves interspersed with pauses to let the lure's lifelike shrimp profile and internal rattle do the work. The 1/2 oz weight casts well on light to medium spin gear and sinks slowly enough to probe shallow flats and mid-water columns without snagging bottom.
Alternatively, use a lift-and-drop cadence: reel down, pause for 2-3 seconds, then lift gently and repeat. The segmented body and tail fan create natural horizontal movement on both the retrieve and fall, triggering strikes from aggressive feeders.
Pre-rigged and ready to fish, it pairs well with 8-12 lb braid or monofilament.
