About this lure
The GACHISLA230HS is a heavy sinking pencil built for chasing giants like GTs, kingfish, and tuna. At 230mm and 165g, it’s slim enough to cut through the air for huge casting distance, yet heavy enough to punch into the wind and drop quickly into the strike zone.
- Length / Weight: 230mm / 165g
- Long-distance casting – slim body and rear-weighted design minimise air resistance for maximum range.
- Fast sinking – drops quickly into the strike zone, ideal for deeper water or strong current.
- Strong swimming action – fat body profile produces a powerful wobble and roll that grabs attention.
- Irregular movement – free-moving head weight adds an unpredictable S-curve dive and clattering sound to trigger reaction strikes.
- Through-wire construction – built to withstand the brutal pressure of monster fish.
The GACHISLA230HS is designed to reach fish others can’t. Its long-cast design lets you cover vast areas of water from boat or shore, while the heavy sinking body ensures you can probe deeper layers where big predators are feeding. The combination of strong rolling action, erratic S-curve movement, and internal clatter makes it irresistible to aggressive pelagics.

How to work it
The GachiSla 230HS is a heavy sinking pencil built for long-distance casting to aggressive pelagics.
Its 165g weight and slim 230mm profile cut through the air and punch into wind, letting you reach distant feeding zones quickly. Cast far, then work the lure with sharp rod twitches to trigger the erratic S-curve dive and internal clattering action that provokes reaction strikes from giants.
Retrieve with varied cadence-alternate between sharp jerks and brief pauses to exploit the free-moving head weight's unpredictable movement. The fat body profile generates a powerful wobble and roll on the drop and during retrieves, making it effective in deeper water or strong current.
Pair with heavy braid and a solid rod to handle the casting load and the brutal pressure of monster fish.
