About this lure
The Hawaiian Malolo Bird Teaser is a hand-crafted pelagic trolling attractor designed to imitate a fleeing flying fish. Built with lifelike shape and stable surface action, it adds visibility, tension, and excitement to your long lure positions, helping raise fish and keep your spread running clean in real-world offshore conditions.
- Flying fish profile โ natural bird shape rides upright and flutters side to side to draw attention
- Surface-skipping action โ stays on top and rarely dives, even in windy trolling conditions
- Heavy-duty stainless rigging โ 600lb 49-strand cable with quality crimps and ball bearing swivel
- Improved lure control โ adds line tension to prevent long lures crossing when trolling across the wind
- Visual spread management โ makes long rigger and shotgun lures easy to see and position
- Versatile teaser platform โ ideal ahead of 6โ9โ skirted bullet head lures but works with any trolling lure
