About this lure
The Jackson Athlete 14SS is a 140mm sinking minnow designed for covering surf zones and open coastlines with long, accurate casts.
Its rear-weighted body gives it excellent distance and stability, even when casting into the wind or fishing in rougher water. On the drop, it maintains a natural horizontal posture, mimicking a wounded baitfish. At slow retrieves, it produces a tight rolling action, while faster retrieves bring out a stronger wobble-roll.
