About this lure

Micro-sized swimbait, full-sized attitude. The Slim SwimZ Micro takes everything that makes the bigger Slim SwimZ deadly — the soft feel, the hard-thumping tail, the ElaZtech toughness — and shrinks it down for when fish are locked onto small bait.

The slim profile and curved paddle tail get moving at almost no speed, putting out a tight wiggle that pulls strikes when nothing else will. Deadly on snapper picking at pilchard schools, trout keyed in on smelt and bullies, and just about anything in freshwater that eats small stuff. Perch, kahawai and juvenile kingis all eat it.

Rig it on a Finesse ShroomZ, Trout Eye Finesse or Finesse EyeZ jighead — the ElaZtech grips the keeper and stays put.

10X Tough ElaZtech

ElaZtech is Z-Man's own material and it's a different animal to normal soft plastic. Ten times tougher, so it shrugs off nicks and tears and keeps fishing after fish after fish instead of getting shredded on the first bite. It's also naturally buoyant, so the tail sits up off the bottom on the pause — a lifelike target sitting right in the strike zone. No PVC, no plastisol, no phthalates, non-toxic.

The Slim SwimZ is a soft plastic designed to mimic natural baitfish.

Cast and retrieve with a steady, rhythmic motion to activate the lure's swimming action.

Work it through likely feeding zones - around structure, weed edges, and open water - using a medium retrieve speed. Pair with light to medium spin gear for best control and feel.
