About this lure

This special model uses the Gig Gigant Hook, which has a proven track record with large fish, and is specialized for catching schools of fish. The horizontal posture when falling, the slow fall speed, and the swaying fall action induce bites. Furthermore, the improved swimming action makes the slow retrieve after the countdown a great weapon. The hook system follows the Gigant Hook and is equipped with a Mag Mount System to prevent the belly hook from getting caught on the back of the lure. The wire-through structure allows for a safe fight. The fall, swim, and gigant hooks are expected to increase the catch rate of large targets.

How to work it

Cast the 47g GIG Level Fall 120LF over surface-feeding schools and let it sink on a controlled countdown.

Its horizontal falling posture, slow fall speed and swaying action draw bites on the drop, so watch your line closely as it descends and be ready to strike.

After the countdown, a slow steady retrieve puts the improved swimming action to work - vary the depth you start from to find where fish are holding.

Alternate between lifting into a fall and slow winding to trigger following fish.

At 47g and 120mm this lure carries well on medium to heavy spin gear, letting you reach schools showing at range.

The wire-through structure and Gigant Hook are built for the pull of larger targets, making it suited to chasing kingfish and kahawai working bait on the surface.
