The Palms Dax DXS is a compact, high-response metal jig built for SLJ (Super Light Jigging) and shore casting. Its short, fat polyhedral body delivers rapid fall speed, crisp rod response, and stable swimming in both shallow and deep water. How to work it

The Dax Swim is a compact metal jig for Super Light Jigging and shore casting, with a short, fat polyhedral body that gives rapid fall speed and stable swimming through the water column.

Drop it to the bottom in 30m or deeper, then work it up with lifts and pauses, letting the tail keel and symmetrical body keep the action consistent as it falls. It comes rigged with an assist flasher hook straight from the box.

Pair it with a delicate-tipped SLJ rod to make the most of the crisp rod response and reduced drag, keeping in touch with the jig as it flutters. From shore, use the compact weight for casting distance and count it down before beginning your retrieve.

Target snapper, trevally, and small kingfish, whether fishing from the boat over deeper ground or casting from the shore.
