How to work it
Drop the Caprice Edge to the bottom in 30m or more, letting the thin, elongated profile slice down quickly before you begin working it.
Once near the bottom, use short, ultra-light jerks of the rod tip to fire off sharp, high-speed darts, then pause and let the jig fall on a slow, controlled drop - that hesitation after the dart is the bite window that tempts following fish.
Vary your input to adjust the dart width, from tight short darts to wider swings, matching how the fish are responding on the day.
The round line eye adds irregular direction changes, so let the jig move unpredictably rather than forcing a rigid cadence.
At 100g this jig suits deeper bottom work where you need to hold contact in current.
