About this lure

This is a scaled up version of the Behemoth. In a short time this lure has come into its own. It’s first fish was a 700lb blue marlin followed quickly by a 700lb black marlin. The Violator is destined to become legendary! An excellent short bait or run as a teaser.

How to work it

The Violator is trolled in the spread as a short bait or teaser, working the surface on a floating action.

Deploy it on the long corner or shotgun position at trolling speed, allowing the skirted head to create surface disturbance and attraction. Its 430 mm length and floating design make it effective for drawing strikes from large pelagics; work it in combination with deeper-running lures to cover the water column.

Pair with 400-600 lb leader and 11/0-12/0 hooks for solid hookup security.
