How to work it

The Black Magic Maggot XT is a trolling lure deployed in the spread behind a moving boat at trolling speed. Its floating, pusher-style head creates surface disturbance and wake, making it effective in most sea conditions.

Position it on the long corner, short corner, or shotgun line depending on your spread strategy.

The 7" skirt generates attraction and bulk; work it steadily at trolling pace without additional retrieve action.

Target tuna, marlin, sailfish, mahimahi, and wahoo by maintaining consistent boat speed and monitoring rod tension for strikes.
